Sandy Bluff Alternative Ed

Welcome to Sandy Bluffs

Welcome...

The staff at Sandy Bluffs Alternative Education Center welcomes you to our alternative education program!

Sierra Unified School District Alternative Education offers a variety of programs which provide families with choices. Our education center offers a continuation high school, a high school independent study program, an elementary independent study program, adult school, preschool, and a community day school. We believe that every person is unique and should be provided with an educational program most suitable to their specific needs or circumstances. Most of our programs utilize a Blended Online Learning component through Edgenuity, the same system used by many larger online schools. Students in our Blended Programs have the additional benefit of having a real teacher that students can meet with rather than sharing an online teacher with dozens of other students. The following information is meant to give you a broad description of each of the programs offered, and we are always excited to discuss our programs with you in person!
